Hot-dip plastic cable threading protection sleeve is a new type of protective tubing designed specifically for cable laying. Using ordinary or galvanized steel pipe as a base material

Hot-dip plastic cable threading protection sleeve is a new type of protective tubing designed specifically for cable laying. Using ordinary or galvanized steel pipe as a base material, it is coated internally and externally with a plastic coating such as polyethylene or epoxy resin through a high-temperature hot-dip process, creating a composite structure of "metal skeleton + plastic protection." It effectively protects cables from soil corrosion, mechanical impact, and humid environments, making it a key choice for cable threading protection in power, communications, and municipal engineering projects.

The production process focuses on "high-temperature dipping and uniform film formation." First, the base steel pipe undergoes pretreatment, such as rust removal and degreasing, to remove surface impurities. The steel pipe is then immersed in a bath of molten plastic powder at temperatures above 200°C. Heat conduction allows the plastic powder to evenly adhere to the inner and outer surfaces of the pipe. Finally, it cools and solidifies, forming a dense coating with a thickness of 0.5-2mm. This process ensures a strong bond between the coating and the base material, making it resistant to detachment. The inner surface is smooth and burr-free, preventing scratches on the cable insulation during threading. Compared to traditional protective casings, this one offers four core advantages: First, it is highly corrosion-resistant and weather-resistant. The plastic coating withstands soil salinity, acid rain, and high temperatures. It operates stably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 80°C, with a lifespan of over 20 years. Second, it offers high mechanical strength. The metal base material is crush- and impact-resistant, capable of withstanding the forces of underground construction, preventing casing deformation and cable damage. Third, it offers easy threading and low friction. The smooth inner surface reduces cable threading resistance, improving construction efficiency. Fourth, it is environmentally friendly and pollution-free. The plastic coating meets environmental standards and releases no harmful substances, making it suitable for sensitive locations such as municipalities and residential areas.

In practical applications, it serves as an "underground guardian" for municipal road cables, protecting them from vehicle damage and soil corrosion; a "safety barrier" for cables in industrial parks, protecting them from corrosive gases in chemical environments; and a "hidden shield" for cables in residential areas, protecting them from moisture, insects, and rodents when laid in walls or underground. This provides a solid foundation for safe cable operation in various scenarios.
