Plastic-coated steel pipe, also known as plastic-coated pipe, steel-plastic composite pipe, or plastic-coated composite steel pipe, is a steel pipe with a plastic anti-corrosion coating fused to the inner surface of the steel pipe (base pipe) or to both the inner and outer surfaces via a spraying, rolling, dipping, or suction process. Plastic-coated steel pipe offers excellent corrosion resistance and relatively low frictional resistance.
